Green Coffee Beans Brazil Sul de Minas 17/18 SSFC
Five (5) lbs. Premium Arabica Gourmet Green Coffee Beans
Green Coffee Beans from the Sul de Minas region of Brazil. The coffee growing elevations in the Sul de Minas region of Brazil average about 1020 meters above sea level and the growing areas are large, providing large quantities of coffee. The rolling hills, mild climate and gentle rainfalls provide the perfect amount of moisture, yielding the best of Brazil’s coffee beans. Coffee from the Sul de Minas region is recognized worldwide for its distinctive flavor and high quality. Home to several large coffee estates, Sul de Minas also has many more cooperatives than other regions of Brazil. More than half the farms are small to medium sized (10-150 hectares), some family owned for generations
Brazilian Sul de Minas coffee is generally very aromatic, clean, with a good body and delicate acidity. Mild acidity is expected from Brazilian beans, and this bean shows more body, smoothness, and complexity than the norm possibly thanks to the Pulped Natural processing that also brings extra fruit notes and sweetness. It is well-balanced, and often exhibits a nutty or slightly sweet flavor with medium roasts, and more dark chocolate if given a darker roast.
